The map displays journey related information that may be useful when choosing travel options to a selected school.

This site can be used to help plan a journey to school. Included is information on:
  • School bus routes/timetables
  • Pedestrian crossings
  • Hazardous routes
To find information in your area complete the steps below. The start/finish points will then appear on the map. If school buses are available, they will be displayed. Click on the red routes to display the bus number, click on the clock for the timetable. Alternatively scroll to Travelling By Bus/School Transport Bus Routes. Scroll further to find information on crossings, hazardous routes etc. For further information call 01244 976044.

You can use the 'Links’ and ‘Help’ tab at the top of the page to find out more.

A small number of school bus journeys are currently being updated for September 2011. This information will be available by 1st August 2011.

Using the Map
  • Drag the map with your mouse
  • Use the zoom bar on the left of the map to zoom in or out
  • Use the arrows on the top-left of the map to scroll
  • Use the centre square of the arrows to go back to the start
  • Click on the map to identify items on the map
Linking to the Map
Map Features tab
  • When the map is zoomed out, only the map scale is shown.
  • You can zoom in on the map to view all the details in a particular area. Use the checkboxes to add data to the map, e.g. schools, libraries, parks, etc.
  • Much of this information is available in text format, try using the search box in the top-right corner.
