Accessibility

To navigate the site using the keyboard only, you can use Accessibility Keys. A list of the Accesibility Keys used throughout this site is listed below. Press the ALT (PC) or CTRL (Mac) key on your keyboard and whilst keeping it pressed down, press the desired Accessibility Key. You should see a dotted line selection highlighting the link you requested. Finally if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or 6, press the ENTER key to move to that page.

You can also use the TAB key to cycle through every clickable link on a page instead of using the ALT + Accessibility Key combination.

TIP: If you are using a text only broswer, you should revert to a visual broswer for using the Toolkit - you can use the Large Tools button, and combine this with your screen reader and screen magnifier for best results

p = Pan
u = Undo
r = Redo
n = Info
t = Toolkit
h = Help

g = Greyscale/Colour
s = Search
l = Large Tools/Small Tools
m = Minimise/Maximise
f = Refresh Map
